Puppet therapy is a powerful method of socialization and sensory integration for people with autism. Making dolls involves papier mache, where you need to tear the paper, sewing on a machine, stuffing stockings with sintepon. Our children love all this very much. And manipulation of a doll, whether it is a marionette, a lifelike doll, or a glove doll, contributes to the awareness of the position of the body in space.
Our performances “Little princes of our planet”, “Forest song in a new way” and “Adventures in the land of vegetables”, touched on the current topics of society’s acceptance of people with autism, ecology and forest pollution. Some of our puppet shows were made into films that received recognition at International film festivals.
