Our goal
We create conditions for development, communication, and self realization for people with
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
The needs of people with autism in three principles
Respect
A person with autism or Down syndrome is first of all a person, not a diagnosis
Acceptance
People with disabilities must be accepted as they sre, without trying to change, or “cure” them
Support
Comprehensive support in obtaining education, medical care and social services
Our society is a society for everyone. We respect and value people with autism and their unique characteristics.
FEEDBACK
Our members
We are excited to create a space where everyone can feel accepted and valued
Our family cannot imagine life without the NGO team. People have gathered here who you can always count on, they will support you, give you advice, and help you both morally and physically. Our son goes to all classes and activities with joy, because he is sure that his friends are nearby. Our life is diverse and interesting, because we always take part in various sports competitions, creative festivals, theater activities.
My daughter is 18 years old and has autism. She does not speak, so it is difficult for her to find communication and friends. It was in the NGO “Autism. A Unique Universe” that she found friends. We have been together since 2017. They took part in plays, a puppet theater, played sports, dances, ceramics, and played the drums. The war destroyed all plans. But even now, when we meet at rehabilitation camps organized by the NGO “Autism. A Unique Universe”, my daughter is very happy to see her old friends
The support of the team of our special mothers during the war is very important to me, because they understand me, my experiences, my fatigue, my pain and despair, longing for my native home. In the circle of communication together with our children, we make plans, learn to live differently. At this time, you understand that you are not alone, you feel supported, and the children are happy to play together, as before, in our hometown.
